Using the new official app* snooker fans around the world can virtually get their hands on World Snooker’s famous trophies – and all for less than the price of a decent chalk!

Launched on 2nd December 2011, to coincide with the UK Championship, World Snooker Trophy Champ showcases all of World Snooker’s major trophies, and users can create amazing, personalised photos of friends and family lifting the prestigious trophy of their choice. There is also the added bonus opportunity to grab a player shot with selected snooker stars.

The app has been made with flexibility in mind, giving users the chance to be creative with their image, rather than having a fixed template scene that they just pop their face in. With this app, you are limited only by what your Imagination can come up with.

Imagine being at a tournament such as the upcoming UK Championship, popping down to the snooker table perimeter and having your picture taken with the match-play table behind you. You can then add in your chosen trophy or player and share your final image with amazed friends and family, as they see you at the tournament table holding the trophy aloft or teaming up with your favourite snooker star!

The app is an entertaining and easy photo-manipulator for anyone of any age to use. It takes the user seamlessly through a two-stage process, in the pursuit of sporting glory:

• The user can take a new photo or upload an existing photo image, selecting who’s going to be featured holding the trophy, individually or as a group.
  

• They then pick which of the official World Snooker trophies they want to hold.They create their perfect picture, using touch for resizing, twisting and positioning.
  

• The user can then add the World Snooker logo and personalise their glory shot by adding a name and a caption.

• The user strikes their best pose for the camera, thinking about where they would like to place the chosen snooker player in the same way as for the trophy image.
  

• Each player has a different pose, so we suggest you experiment first in order to get the best possible image. Be creative and try different poses. The end result will be worth the extra effort!
  

It’s then just a question of saving the images generated and either instantly sharing them via email, Twitter and Facebook or saving them on your device to show off whenever you please!
